busy month................but I'm back

I've been really busy this month. Sales have been slow due to these downpours. Rainy season sure is bad for construction business, slows them down. We almost missed our monthly sales quota, but thank GOD we didn't. We have to double our effort in selling. Wheew......
So, MJ's dead. I think he is a really good artist. A wonderful performer and fantastic entertainer. But it ends there. I do not think of him as a good role model. (to all MJ's fan, please don't hate me) I didn't feel sad with his passing away as much as I did when Francis M died. Maybe because Francis is a Filipino like me. Anyways, rest in peace to both of them. May they find their final resting place.
And to a lighter note, I have recently learned to cook rice. Been doing great, but the past week tainted my record. Burned rice twice in a row. Oh well, it is a learning process. My hubby made home cooked-yema for me. I said I loved it and that it was delicious. But the truth was it looks "YUCKY". Had a hard time swallowing it. I want to tell him how it tasted and looked like, but I chickened out, I can't tell him the truth. He really worked hard for it and it was a surprise. Thanks Daddy. I love you . Hey, it's the thought that counts, right?
My daughter started pre-school this year. She has an admirer already. her classmate's mother told me that her son always talked about my daughter. I felt flattered. One time, I brought my daughter to school, as we enter, a boy pulled out a chair for her to sit on. And she have received her first birthday invitation from a classmate today. Baby, I love you so much. You make me high.
I was on a tight budget last moth, Im hoping this won't be the case this July. Here's hoping for the best. Here's hoping for a more productive and prosperous month this JULY.
Been missing my tita Cecille lately. She passed away last year. I hope she knows I love her and that I miss her and she will be forever in my heart.
And here's to GOD, I know that I have been neglecting You and my obligations and duties to You as a good catholic and child. I am fervently sorry. I will try my best to pray more solemnly, to thank You in everything You have provided for me and to just mainly talk to you everyday.

randomness

One person said, never ever let your heart run your life, as much as you can, always be sensible and let your mind speak for itself. Try to listen not merely on what your feelings is invoking on you as a person but more importantly listen to reason as well. Letting go of someone doesn't necessarily mean you have to stop loving, it only means that you allow that person to find their own happiness without expecting them to come back. Letting go is not just setting the other person free (in the real sense of it), but it is also setting yourself free from all animosity, revulsion, and resentment that was long kept in your heart. You have to let go because the bitterness often puts away the strengths and weakens the littlest hope, making our lives more miserable than ever. Worst, presenting yourself as the "most affected one" sets the nastiest impression of all time--whatta a loser!
The trick there is...always remember that if you lose someone today, it means that someone better is coming tomorrow. If you lose love that doesn't mean that you failed in love...right? Just regard it as another mismatch of heaven! Well, you can cry of course, or whine or shout (growl even) if you have to, but make sure that after those outbursts you have washed away the hurt and the bitterness that the past has left with you (easy said than done I know!). We can all survive with just beautiful memories of the past but real peace and happiness come only with open acceptance of what reality is today. You really don't have to forget someone you love (`cause i know it's very hard). What we need to learn is how to accept the verdict of reality without being bitter or sorry for what we have become. I think it's better that we give off that dedication and love to someone more deserving. Hmmm..."Who could it be" is the next interesting question to ponder.
Let go of yesterday and love will find its way back to you(I hope). And when it does, pray hard that it may be the love that will stay and last a lifetim

My Favorite Book...CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL

I have the book Chicken Soup for the Soul for years now. When I first read the book, I cried....I keep it in my office since that's where I am most of the time. I read it over and over because it inspires me. Its a collection of stories mostly about goodness of people. It is a compilation of people's experiences which can really melt your heart. I usually read it when I'm down, when I'm burned out or when I'm having my blues. Because after I finished reading, I always feel like there's hope for us after all. And it shows that with GOODNESS you can never go wrong. Its like the books gives me hope that whatever I am going through, I will get past it. Like the people's experiences in the book.

I highly recommend Chicken Soup for the Soul

THE GREATEST ADVICE

Don't date because you are desperate.
Don't marry because you are miserable.
Don't have kids because you think your genes are superior. Don't philander because you think you are irresistible.
Don't associate with people you can't trust.
Don't cheat. Don't lie. Don't pretend.
Don't dictate because you are smarter.
Don't demand because you are stronger.

Don't sleep around because you think you are old enough and know better. Don't hurt your kids because loving them is harder. Don't sell yourself, your family, or your ideals. Don't stagnate.!
Don't regress.
Don't live in the past. Time can't bring anything or anyone back. Don't put your life on hold for possibly Mr/Mrs Right. Don't throw your life away on absolutely Mr Wrong because your biological clock is ticking.
Learn a new skill.
Find a new friend.
Start a new career.
Sometimes, there is no race to be won.
Only a price to be paid for some of life's more hasty decisions.

To terminate your loneliness, reach out to the homeless.
To feed your nurturing instincts, care for the needy.
To fulfill your parenting fantasies, get a puppy.
Don't bring another life into this world for all the wrong reasons.
To make yourself happy, pursue your passions and be the best of what you can be. Simplify your life. Take away the clutter. Get rid of destructive elements: abusive friends, nasty habits, and dangerous liaisons. Don't abandon your responsibilities but don't overdose on duty.
Don't live life recklessly without thought and feeling for your family. Be true to yourself. Don't commit when you are not ready. Don't keep others waiting needlessly.
Go on that trip. Don't postpone it.
Say those words. Don't let the moment pass.
Do what you have to, even at society's scorn.

Write poetry.
Love Deeply.
Walk barefoot.
Dance with wild abandon.
Cry at the movies.

Take care of yourself. Don't wait for someone to take care of you. You light up your life. You drive yourself to your destination. No one completes you - except YOU.
It is true that life does not get easier with age.
It only gets more challenging.
Don't be afraid. Don't lose your capacity to love.
Pursue your passions.

Live your dreams.
Don't lose faith in your God.
Don't grow old. Just grow YOU!

When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life
that you'll never get back. Your time is your life. That is why the greatest
gift you can give someone is your time. Relationships take time and effort,
and the best way to spell love is T-I-M-E because the essence of love is not
what we think or do or provide for others, but how much we give of
ourselves.-Rick Warren, The Purpose Driven Life
